Although John and Yoko delivered their first album that could be described as pop music they continued to alienate many fans by their narrow focus on topical political issues.

The album came with an extra disc from a live performance with Frank Zappa featuring Cold Turkey, Don't Worry Kyoko, Well, Jamrag, Scumbag, and Au.
