'Shaved Fish' includes all of John Lennon's
hits from 1969 to 1975, including such non-LP singles as 'Instant
Karma,' 'Cold Turkey,' and 'Happy Xmas (War Is Over).' These are amongst
the tracks that show John's continuing concern with the social and
political issues of those unsettled times. But it's not all angst
- 'No. 9 Dream' and 'Whatever Gets You Through the Night' are straight-ahead
pop music in the inimitable Lennon style.
