John Lennon's Afghan coat

John gave his coat, which he'd worn to the launch party for Sgt Pepper, to his friend singer songwriter Harry Nillson who had forgotten his coat one day. It didn't fit Nilsson well so he gave it to his 18-year-old sister Michelle who was thrilled to own a genuine Beatle coat. When John discovered she had it he told her: "Take good care as it will be valuable one day."
