In 1977 John spent five months in Karuizawa, an old summer resort in Japan very much like the Hamptons on Long Island, N Y.

The card reads: "We are just near here, in the mountains; if you wish to 'phone, it would be great! but if you are too busy - that's o.k. too! Lots of love to you + God Bless! Daddy/Yoko/Sean"
