Anne, nicknamed Nanny, was George and Annie's third daughter. She worked as a civil servant during WWII. Her husband to be, Sidney Cadwallader, was also a civil servant. Anne was in her 30s when she married Sidney and they bought Mater's old home at Rock Ferry in Cheshire. The family connection with this house lasted 62 and a half years!

Anne and Sidney had one son, Michael, who works as a banker.
