The Morning Room was Mimi's favourite room in the house and the one most
used by the family. Stan remembers, "Mimi would sit in the right
hand corner of the room, that's before the TV arrived, and wave to us
getting off the tram or bus when we came to stay with her in the school
holidays. In those days there were no houses built on the left hand side
of Mendips and she had an unobstructed view of the bus stop!"
